A Vision for a Multimedia Knowledge Management Framework

In this paper, we investigate the modern issues of knowledge management and their impact on our living environment including business practices and health issues. We describe our vision through a highly computerised framework that combines technologies from different disciplines such as knowledge-based systems, database systems and multimedia technologies to support various knowledge management tasks. The framework has been closely associated with an application scenario in health.
